Il che sembra assolutamente sensato in tutti quegli ambienti dove "la
rete" e` sempre una sola. Cioe` dove, dhcp o statico, tutto quello che
hai e` una rete.
Se invece sei un roamer maledetto, e/o vivi attaccato a una wireless,
allora forse comunque un logon "network based" non ti serve lo stesso.
Forse non e` nemmeno cosi` una tragedia.
Parlando di questo, mi chiedevo: come potrei replicare su una ubuntu
qualcosa di simile al comportamento di un client windows dentro un
dominio?
Cioe`, intedo dire, fare logon controllando user e password su un
dominio SMB (non AD, il DC e` NT4) (*), ed eventualmente anche
modificare la propria password sul DC. E funzionare anche scollegato
dalla rete (quante pretese!)
