WTF?
devfs, *senza* devfsd e` totalmente harmless. Inoltre:
" You need to have devfs mounted at boot for this to work. If you don't,
your system will keep working as before (with normal on-disc device
files)."
Che tradotto significa: CONFIG_DEVFS_MOUNT=y. indovina un po`:

# CONFIG_DEVFS_MOUNT is not set
Il solo CONFIG_DEVFS_FS=y non significa che avete devfs, significa che
il kernel *puo`* supportarlo. Che e` bel po` differente.
Tant'e`, dalla docu del kernel:
"Finally, you need to make sure devfs is compiled into your kernel. Set
CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL=y, CONFIG_DEVFS_FS=y and CONFIG_DEVFS_MOUNT=y by
using favourite configuration tool (i.e. make config or
make xconfig) and then make clean and then recompile your kernel and
modules. At boot, devfs will be mounted onto /dev."
(oltre ad avere devfsd, come gia` detto in precedenza).
Questo, per'altro, non ha nulla a che vedere con la questione debian
installer e raid. Semplicemente, il tool di creazione del raid, non
totalmente bidirezionale. I problemi li hai quando "sbagli qualcosa e
torni indietro". Se fate giusto, va dritto. Ne ho installate un discreto
numero per poterlo affermare con discreta certezza.
