Scusate, qualcuno può spiegarmi come funziona.... no, come si usa
bittorrent? ho installato il pacchetto bittorrent di sarge.
io ero abituato ai programmi tipo napster che si collegavano a qualche
server e via.... con bittorrent ho iniziato a leggere cosa bisogna
fare... non si capisce... siccome vedo che è molto usato (sto scaricando
la debian con jigdo, ma ho visto che c'è anche in bittorrent come tanti
altri programmi) allora dico che mi sfugge qualcosa...
Nelle FAQ non c'è scritto *niente*, ecco un esempio:

R: BitTorrent is not like other peer-to-peer applications (such as
Winmx, Kazaa, Gnutella, etc.) in that it does not have its own
"universe." Put another way, BT lives on top of the Web, which means
that all of the searching/listing of available files is done on the web.
When you find a file you want to download, you click on it and the
BitTorrent client program will run and ask you where to put it, and then
start downloading.

Ma che razza di risposta è? Mi ricorda anni fa quando cercavo risposte
sui manuali di windows: "con windows si può fare questo e quest'altro,
puoi connetterti con un click e poi vedere le cartelle e poi la
stampante e bla bla bla", ma dire *come* si fanno le cose è troppo
difficile?
