[Erlug] Kernel 2.2 e RTL8139

Ho un kernel 2.2, una shceda PCI RTL8139, in giro avevo trovato di
mettere nel conf. del kernel la scheda come fosse NE2000, ma non
riconosce un cippa, al boot dice che ETH0 non esiste.....

Consigli?
