EXAMPLE
The most common use for xauth is to extract the entry for the current
display, copy it to another machine, and merge it into the user's
authority file on the remote machine:
% xauth extract - $DISPLAY | rsh otherhost xauth merge -
The following command contacts the server :0 to create an authoriza
tion using the MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 protocol. Clients that connect
with this authorization will be untrusted.
% xauth generate :0 .
Il server deve avere l'estensione SECURITY.
Poi farlo andare (per quanto mi riguarda) e' sempre stato un altro paio di
maniche -
ragion per cui io giro sempre con xhost + qualcosa, e se deve capitare il
peggio,
tant'e' (ma in realta' sono passato a X ssh forwarding da un po' e dovrebbe
andare
meglio).
Penso di tutto cuore che Xauth sia un protocollo spregevole, che capisce
(forse) solo quello che che se lo invento', che spero sia conannato ad
usarlo fin che campa.
