Qualcuno mi potrebbe spiegare per quale motivo con il kernel della
RedHat 7.2 il Computer si spegne da solo con il comando
shutdown -h now
mentre invece con il kernel 2.4.16 compilato da me con le stesse opzioni
a riguardo del Power Management il PC non si spegne ???
Se non sbaglio le opzioni sono queste :
CONFIG_PM=y
# CONFIG_ACPI is not set
CONFIG_APM=y
# CONFIG_APM_IGNORE_USER_SUSPEND is not set
# CONFIG_APM_DO_ENABLE is not set
# CONFIG_APM_CPU_IDLE is not set
# CONFIG_APM_DISPLAY_BLANK is not set
CONFIG_APM_RTC_IS_GMT=y
# CONFIG_APM_ALLOW_INTS is not set
# CONFIG_APM_REAL_MODE_POWER_OFF is not set
Sono settate nello stesso modo sia nel k 2.4.7-10 che nel k 2.4.16.Ho
provato anche ad attivare la voce CONFIG_APM_REAL_MODE_POWER_OFF, che a
quanto ho capito serve proprio per spegnere il PC, ma niente da fare.
