Test con bonnie++, sulla stessa partizione formattata prima in
reiserfs, poi in xfs (con blocksize da 4k, dato che per ora non

Leggendo la prima riga avrete detto tra voi e voi: "'stic@zzi!",
e leggendo la seconda: "mh...".
Pare molto strano anche a me: ma xfs mi pare vada decisamente _lento_
sui file sparsi... In particolare, senza il "size=32768b" andava ancora
piu' lento sui files.
Avro' sbagliato qualcosa?
Morale della favola: potrei consigliare xfs per le partizioni che
ospitino database, ftp, forse la /var/log, le mie mailbox :).
Per /var/spool/news e le partizioni "normali" mi pare che non ne valga
proprio la pena.

Cmq son d'accordo con tann: una volta che uno ha un filesys
transazionale, chissene se va un po' piu' forte o piu' piano.
Dato che pero' questi sono gli unici dischi che ho, allora
tanto vale montarci quello che va di piu' :))
