da man bash:
LC_ALL This variable overrides the value of LANG and any
other LC_ variable specifying a locale category.
non so cosa voglia kylix, cmq, impostala come la tua variabile globale
LANG, che vedi in /etc/profile.
Questo, perche` come dice la man, LC_ALL ha la meglio rispetto alle
variabili LANG e LC.
Se il tuo sistema e` in italiano imposta:
export LC_ALL=it_IT
Se in inglese:
export LC_ALL=en_US
poi lancia kylix da quella shell. Se e` sufficente, lo metti in profile
(o dell'utente o globale, a seconda... io preferisco quello dell'utente,
ovvero .bash_profile nella sua home).
