gsettings set com.ubuntu.update-notifier auto-launch false
dovrebbe fare quello che vuoi tu.
gsettings set com.ubuntu.update-notifier auto-launch true
rimette "com'era prima". (per verificare: gsettings list-keys
com.ubuntu.update-notifier)
